The YWCA Children's Center

Our Pool sessions are hosted at the YWCA Pool, which is in back of the
YWCA Children's Center. Located just off Gallows Road, and near Tyson's
Corner, the Pool is about 8 minutes from "The" Dive Shop.

link on the right).
The Dunn Loring Fire station is a convenient landmark, located across
the street from the Y.
Our training pool is dedicated to divers whenever we have classes; there
are no swimmers competing for room in the pool. We see this as a key
advantage to our facility, helping our divers concentrate on their
course work without distractions.
You will find us teaching a wide variety of classes at the pool
throughout the year. Courses range from Learn
to Dive & Scuba Refresh, to Buoyancy Clinics, all the way through advanced topics
such as Underwater Video.
When you arrive at the YWCA, please park in the lot on the right hand
side, and enter through the appropriate locker room. Your instructor
will meet you on the pool deck.
Please be sure to bring your bathing suit and towel to class as towels
are not supplied at the Y. You will also need your personal gear (e.g.
Mask, Snorkel, Boots, Fins) and the Scuba gear issued to you at the shop.
